Patients may not be able to visit clinician at the moment, but it doesn't mean that their physiotherapy treatment can stop. OK Care is excited to introduce on-site physiotherapy treatment where you can have the treatment whenever and wherever needed.

The on-site physiotherapy treatment can be especially helpful if people are having difficulty in day to day activities, such as walking, climbing stairs or getting in and out of bed. It can also be of great help to those who have had a fall, suffer from balance problems or had a recent operation which has impacted on their mobility.

Not only physical problems that can benefit from physiotherapy treatment. It can also help those with breathing problems such as Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, Alzheimers Disease or Parkinson’s Disease. Research shows that a customized, supervised exercise programme can also help to improve patients’ day to day function and slow down the progression of long term conditions.

To ensure patients can get proper physiotherapy treatment, we can advise to make the existing environment safer especially after a fall. We can also provide ergonomic advice to help make daily tasks easier to do. Sometimes something as simple as having someone present to increase confidence around getting out and about outdoors again can be life changing and really help boost confidence.

Our physiotherapists provide personalized physiotherapy treatment program utilizing exercise, manual therapy, movement to enhance mobility as well as offer education, consultation and recommendations to patient and caregivers according to the patient’s conditions and needs.
